A Typical Day at Joey’s Childcare
Every day at Joey’s Childcare is filled with fun, learning, and laughter! Our daily routine gives children a balance of structured activities, free play, and quiet moments — helping them feel secure while encouraging independence and curiosity.
8:00 – 8:30 am | Breakfast
A healthy breakfast to start the day, giving children energy for learning and play.
8:30 – 9:00 am | Welcome & Free Play
Children settle in and enjoy a relaxed start with toys, puzzles, and creative play.
9:00 – 9:30 am | Morning Circle Time
Songs, stories, and sharing — building confidence, language skills, and friendships.
9:30 – 10:15 am | Learning Through Play
Hands-on activities focused on early literacy, numbers, and problem-solving. Rotating stations include art, building, and sensory play.
10:15 – 10:30 am | Morning Snack
A nutritious snack to recharge — and a chance to chat and practice good table manners.
10:30 – 11:30 am | Outdoor Adventures
Time for fresh air and movement! Children explore our outdoor space, run, climb, and enjoy group games.
11:30 am – 12:15 pm | Creative Time
Arts and crafts, music, or imaginative play that encourages creativity and self-expression.
12:15 – 12:45 pm | Lunch

Healthy & Tasty Meals at Joey’s Childcare
At Joey’s Childcare, we provide wholesome meals and snacks every day to help children grow strong and stay energised. Our menu is designed to be simple, nutritious, and appealing to little ones, with plenty of fruits, vegetables, and whole grains.

Monday
- Breakfast: Oatmeal with banana slices and a drizzle of honey
- Morning Snack: Apple slices with yogurt dip
- Lunch: Grilled chicken strips, steamed carrots, peas, and brown rice
- Afternoon Snack: Whole-grain crackers with hummus
- Dinner: Baked salmon, sweet potato mash, and steamed broccoli
Tuesday
